Characteristics
Orthosis comprising of front and back pieces, made from plastazote with rigid thermoplastic supports and Velcro strap closures on the sides. Its upper part is designed to make full contact with the lower part of the head using and occipitalchin support. Its lower part rests laterrally on the shoulders with the fron portion situated over the sternum and the rear over the D5 vertebra. The front part of the collar features a tracheal opening.
Indications
Post-traumatic immobilization (whiplash).
Treatment of cervical disc herniation.
Postoperative protection.
